Today, the SUV is being shown off for the first time. It will come out first with internal combustion engines (ICE), and subsequently an electric version based on Tata’s unique active architecture will come out.

A Design Language Rooted in Heritage and Futurism

The first Tata Sierra, which came out in the early 1990s, was a trailblazer in India. It was a roomy, three-door lifestyle SUV that came with power windows and a modern, strong attitude. The 2025 avatar carefully follows this tradition while also using Tata Motors’ newest design philosophy, “Impact 2.0,” which was greatly influenced by the idea displayed at the Auto Expos.

Let’s learn about different variants of the Tata Sierra.

Different Variants of Tata Sierra with Detailed Features

Tata Sierra Smart

The Tata Sierra Smart and Smart+ models set a new bar for safety and basic quality amenities in their class, starting with the bottom level. Safety is the most important thing, and the car comes with six airbags (for the driver, co-driver, curtain, and side) and all-wheel disc brakes as standard. It also has an electronic park brake with auto hold and a perimetric alarm system. The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) has more than 20 functions that help keep the car stable. These include Rollover Mitigation (ROM), Hill Ascend Control (HAC), Traction Control System (TCS), and Dynamic Braking Support (DBS).

These models have unique Bi-LED projector headlamps, characteristic Light Saber LED DRLs and tail lamps, and door handles that are flush with the body and have welcoming lights. The cabin has a 10.16 cm digital cockpit, a steering wheel that tilts and telescopes with an illuminated logo, and a front sliding armrest with storage. There are rear AC vents, rear window sunshades, and Electronic Temperature Control (ETC) to make you more comfortable. Electrically adjustable ORVMs, Follow Me Home Head Lamps, an electric tailgate release, and two front USB (Type A + Type C 45W) connectors make everyday use easier.

Tata Sierra Pure

Compared to the Smart+, the Pure version has much better technology and driving comfort inside the car. It comes with a 26 cm infotainment touchscreen that lets you interact with it, an 8-speaker audio system (4 speakers and 4 tweeters), and wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™. Cruise Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Hill Descent Control (HDC) all make driving easier. It also has useful features such as a rear camera with park assist guides, auto-folding ORVMs, drive modes (city and sport), and a modern monostable shifter with paddle shifters* for automatics.

Tata Sierra Pure+

The Pure+ trim adds a lot of new features that make it easier and more comfortable to use than the Pure trim. It adds the Voice Assisted Panoramic Sunroof, which is a very popular feature that makes the cabin feel more open. Auto headlamps and rain sensing wipers make driving as easy as possible. Dual Zone Fully Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) makes the people inside more comfortable, and two 65W USB-C chargers in the back make things easier for them. Stylish alloy wheels and a tidy hidden rear wiper with washer are two useful cosmetic upgrades that come with the rear defogger. The driver also gets a one-shot up/down window that won’t pinch.

Tata Sierra Adventure

The Adventure variation builds on the Pure+ by making the driver more attentive and the outside stronger. The 360° HD Surround View System (SVS), which includes the 4Sight blind spot monitoring and front parking sensors, makes parking and safety better. The Cornering Function on Front LED Fog Lamps makes it easier to see. The driver receives a better 17.78 cm Digital Cockpit, a premium feel from the Leatherette Wrapped Steering Wheel, and a Leatherette Wrapped Gear Shifter. The outside gets useful and tough Roof Rails, while the inside gets a Smart Slide Parcel Tray for added convenience.

Tata Sierra Accomplished

The top-of-the-line Accomplished model comes with the very advanced ADAS L2 suite, which has 13 important functions. These include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Keep Assist, and full Autonomous Emergency Braking for pedestrians, automobiles, and cyclists, setting a new safety standard. The 12-speaker JBL Black™ system with Dolby Atmos and the one-of-a-kind SonicShaft Soundbar turns the cabin into a high-end area. The HypAR HUD (Head-Up Display) makes the luxury even better with leatherette seats, ventilated seats, a 6-way motorized driver seat, a wireless charger, and a technology that cools the car quickly.

Tata Sierra Accomplished+

The Accomplished+ model is the most expensive and has the highest safety, luxury, and connectivity. It has the immersive Horizon View Triple Screen Infotainment Experience with ADAS L2+ improvements that add 22 important features, like Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). The Powered Tailgate with Gesture Control makes it easier to use, and the BreatheIQ Purifier makes the air in the cabin better. The driver’s seat gets more advanced with 6-way power adjustment, memory, and a welcome function.  The iRA Connected Car Suite (+73 features), Amazon Alexa™ connectivity, and the fun Arcade Suite all make it easier to connect.
